Singapore Vintage and Classic Cars #1 (originally posted on 13/2/15)

It is remarkable to see that even in Singapore, where owning a car is a ‘ten-year rental’, some people are really passionate about their old rides and try to preserve it. As Singapore approaches her 50th anniversary, I hope the photos of cars throughout the ages will appeal to all out there.
I consider cars earlier than 1990 classic. All photos are mine taken with phone cameras–pardon the low quality.

Most photos were taken at car repair workshops. I am still puzzled why the UK cars were brought in when they end up abandoned. Did the owners run out of money? Why waste such classics then? I would love to own a classic car if possible—why go for the Ferraris and Lambos when their speeds are constrained? You get to turn more heads driving even a 1970s Toyota, given how rare 1980s cars are on our roads today.
